This provides a class file which produces thesis, prelims, dissertations and project reports which should meet the requirements of the graduate school at UW-Madison.
Most Masters' and Ph D theses from the University of Washington are catalogued by subject area (like a book) and can be searched using the UW Libraries Search.They can be found electronically on Mad Cat and the Pro Quest database.Pro Quest/UMI Dissertation Publishing archives all accepted dissertations.These titles are available to the general public for viewing and photocopying at the library, or may be requested through another library's interlibrary loan service (check with your library for details).External Purchase: A commercial company stores dissertations, through which anyone may purchase a copy to keep.They may be single-spaced with an additional space between entries.Equations, superscripts, and subscripts are acceptable in your dissertation provided they are legible when microfilmed.Theses may be browsed by subject in the Theses may also be browsed in the Engineering General Stacks (3rd or 4th floor) according to their assigned subject area call numbers.Use the "Browse Search" option in [email protected] to see shelf lists of a particular discipline.Some departments accept a master's paper as part of the requirement for a degree.The same publication criteria do not pertain and these are not deposited in the library.
