Here are some examples: The body of your essay is where you develop your story or argument.

You have finished your research and have pages of notes. Go through your notes with a highlighter and mark the most important ideas, the key points.

Choose the top three ideas and write each one at the top of a clean page.

Now go through again and pull out supporting ideas for each key point. It's always better to have too many sources than too few.

Focus your research on finding the answers to the questions that you have set.

This will make your reading more purposeful and efficient.

The introduction should clearly state how you plan to answer the question and what your main points will be.

It can also be useful to define any particular terms, which the essay requires you to discuss.
